The endearing Hope was commissioned for the British based, 'This Morning America Appeal' in remembrance of 9/11. The devastating terrorist attack on the World Trade Centre in 2001. All profits from sales will go to the World Trade Centre Disaster Fund, courtesy of the British teddy bear maker, Merrythought.
Hope is a plush, soft toy teddy bear. He has been sewn from a luxuriously dense, woven fur plush in black, (a nod to the traditional mourning bear), with cocoa rimmed, glossy black safety eyes and a velvety cocoa nose to match. Upon his chest on his left is a red, white and blue embroidered charity ribbon that matches the satin ribbon bow around his neck, whilst beans in his lower half, add that tactile, squidgy-soft feel. Hope will come to you in his original, clear fronted, Merrythought window box.
A real cutie.
