Since 1989, Harrods has commission exclusive Steiff bears, for the first time however, there are two bears. Mia, with her own Steiff teddy bear Rose, courtesy of the German, master teddy bear maker, Steiff.
Mia is a 32 cm / 12.5", fully jointed teddy bear. She has been sewn from the finest, luxuriously dense and wavy, golden mohair with warm wool felt paws, glossy black safety eyes and a smart hand stitched chestnut nose and smile, upon her expertly trimmed muzzle, resulting in a friendly expression. She wears a wide, satin ribbon bow and features the brands logo embroidered onto her left paw, whilst her right has been signed with the name Keith (a representative of Steiff or Harrods).
Rose is a 10 cm / 4", non-jointed teddy bear. She has been sewn from a luxuriously tactile, velvety-touch plush in tan and cream, with glossy black safety eyes, a matching thread and style to Mia, hand stitched nose and mouth, finished with a tailored pink bow (no tails).
Both pieces have the same edition number and are an Exclusive Limited Edition of 1,500 sets. They will come boxed, with their numbered certificate of authenticity.
