From 2001 we welcome Wilhelm der Berliner Telegrammbote or as we know him, Wilhelm the Berlin Telegram Boy. He's efficient, reliable and quick, thanks to his skates that make him faster! A wonderful design from the German, master teddy bear maker, Steiff.
Wilhelm is a 30cm (11.8"), fully jointed character teddy bear. He has been sewn from the finest, luxury gold mohair with warm wool felt paws, two-tone brown safety eyes and the smartest hand stitched, cocoa thread nose. His uniform is very smart in royal blue and black wool felt, with red piping and brass buttons featuring upon the cuff's of his coat and down the front, with the German logo, gold post horn featuring at the front of his cap. Hung across his torso, is a red leather messenger bag, in which he carries your news to you, (he even holds his next message delivery in his paw), whilst each foot is firmly attached via a leather strap, to four silver wheeled skates.
This wonderful German Exclusive is a Limited Edition of just 1,500 pieces and comes boxed with his numbered certificate of authenticity.
