Please welcome the Christmas Teddy Bear, sustainably formed, by the German Master teddy bear maker, Steiff.
Christmas is a 34 cm / 13.4", fully jointed teddy bear. He has been lovingly sewn from a forest-green, paper plush that resembles the form and look of pine needles, but is soft to the touch, with recycled forest-green polyester felt for his vibrant paws, that have been embroidered to represent tartan in red and yellow-gold, whilst being gently stuffed with recycled PET bottles. His glimmering glass eyes have been painted on the reverse with shimmering gold lacquer, whilst his wonderful stitched nose and mouth are in a metallic, champagne-gold thread. Finally, just like other Limited Edition, 'Teddies for Tomorrow', he bears a chest tag of highly polished brass, featuring the Steiff company logo from 1897. A glorious bear for the future and the first ever sustainable Christmas Bear.
