This vibrantly coloured parrot lives in the south east of Australia and Tasmania. It's the Eastern Rosella, depicted by the masters of realism, Hansa.
The Eastern Rosella is a L29 cm x W13 cm x H21 cm (11.4"x5.1"x8.2"), plush soft toy. He has been sewn from a mix of luxurious plush, to resemble that of his living counterpart. This eastern rosella has a genuine realistic form and has been crafted from a velvety-smooth short-pile in red, pale yellow and aqua blue with velvety-smooth accents for his beak and lower limbs. His glossy two-tone brown safety eyes, rest upon felt to emphasis, whilst hand applied painting and shading, has been used to define, shape and blend his beak, lower limbs and of course, his magnificent feathered plumage, with black stencilling, creating patterned markings. All this and he is still wonderfully soft and cuddly, with a delightfully tactile touch.
He has internal supports to retain his pose.
