The Islander Hen is a L28 cm x W19 cm x H26 cm (11"x7.4"x10.2"), plush soft toy. She has been sewn from a mix of luxurious plush, to resemble the plumage of her living counterpart. The Islander hen herself has a genuine, realistic form and has been crafted from a dense and semi-fluffy, brown ticked, golden sand, resulting in a decorative, lacy pattern, with velvety-smooth red wattle, comb and eye patch, plus white for her beak, legs and 'claws'. She has two-tone, red safety eyes with delicate hand applied painting bringing shape and definition, which has also been activated to her beak and hock (feet). All this and she is wonderfully soft and cuddly, with lift-able wings and a delightfully tactile touch.
She will retain her standing pose due to internal supports.
