For 2019, Charlie has created an absolutely stunning quartet for her impressive Folklore Series. This year it's all about the English Folklore hero Robin Hood and his band of 'outlaws'. Meet Friar Tuck (Hedgehog) a magnificent design by Isabelle Lee with Charlotte Morris Exclusively for Charlie Bears.
Friar Tuck is a 24cm/9.5" tall, fully jointed hedgehog with flat feet so that he can stand unaided. He has been sewn from a mix of both sumptuous alpaca and luxurious mohair, in auburn tipped honey, off-white and a brown tipped off-white for his prickles. His captivating face has been sculpted, with white felt enhanced, glass eyes, a shaded and waxed hand stitched nose, plus acrylic whiskers. His bespoke outfit is rather splendid too. A monks habit in brown, with matching 'boots' and a wooden cross attached to his belt. A true masterpiece!
