This magical rendition was created as a Japanese Exclusive of only 500 pieces in 2003.
Pooh is 9" / 22.8 cm in size and fully jointed. He is depicted as drawn by E. H. Shepherd, with his high cupped ears and low set facial features, adding immensely to his charm. Pooh has been crafted from a sumptuously dense, custom woven, luxury alpaca, with glossy black, glass eyes and an inviting hand stitched nose and mouth. He has been cleverly designed, due to hours of research, resulting in bent limbs and stuffing of soft cotton and pellets for that genuine, cuddly feel and weight. Now to his accessories, he wears an immaculate tailor-made, single button, lined, red wool felt jacket, whilst holding his string-tied balloon. The balloon is a masterpiece in itself. It has been crafted from the finest blue wool felt and meticulously shaded by hand to achieve the effect of light, upon a curved surface. The two together are just stunning!
Pooh and his Blue Balloon will come to you in a bespoke R John Wright box. His numbered certificate is enclosed, along with the same corresponding number upon the box and upon Pooh's makers label.
