Continuing with the Cologne Cathedral series, we introduce the third release – Dom Bar 3 (Cathedral Bear 3). He follows in the dainty paw prints of Dom Bar 1 who carried a piece of Trachyte (an igneous volcanic rock), in which the Cathedral was built and Dom Bar 2, who had the accessory of a piece of the Cathedral's window glass. Dome Bar 3 represents the Cathedral's south transept porch and comes with a 3D puzzle crafted from pieces of it. This exceptional Bear was made in collaboration with the Cathedral's master builder Peter Fussenich, along with the Hohe Str branch of Galeria Kaufhof, whilst being given form by the artisans at Steiff.
Dom Bar 3 is 22cm tall and fully jointed. He has been sewn from a luxuriously dense and semi-fluffy sand brown mohair with wool felt paws, glossy black eyes and handstitched brown features for that softer, more appealing look. Upon his right paw is an embroidered outline of the Cathedral, with Kohn embroidered underneath. He comes with a drawstring bag, which is home to his 3D puzzle. Imagine completing this puzzle and placing it next to Dom Bar 3, they would make a fabulous display.
This exceptionally hard to obtain German Exclusive for Galeria Kaufhof, Hohe Str, Cologne is a Limited Edition of just 1,500 pieces and will come to you boxed with his numbered certificate of authenticity.
