From the award winning New Zealand Teddy Bear Artist Robin Rive, we introduce a commemorative piece from 2005. It's Hans Christian Anderson, the staring piece, in an exclusive range celebrating the bicentenary of his birth, (200th Anniversary), a true collectable limited edition, artist teddy bear.
Hans is a 35.5 cm / 14", fully jointed character bear. He has been sewn from a luxuriously dense, blonde short-pile mohair and smooth light tan paws, with his right sole featuring a facsimile of the Robin Rive logo and her signature, whilst charismatic glossy black eyes, with a hand stitched, black nose and mouth upon his carefully trimmed muzzle, bring distinction and charm. To finish, he wears an outfit similar to one worn by Hans Christian Anderson in his lifetime. A tailored grey suit, consisting of trousers a detailed lapel and buttoned waistcoat, with a white cotton wing-tipped collar, featuring a black satin ribbon bow tie, beneath a tailored, black single buttoned coat, with a grey and black trimmed bowler hat, plus his numbered certificate of authenticity.
