The inspiration for this handsome chap was discovered at an auction. Designers had come across a bear, amidst a vintage and antique lot, who had the most open and welcoming face. This is how the glorious Johann came to be thanks to the clever artisans at the master teddy bear maker, Steiff.
Johann is a 45 cm / 17.7" fully jointed teddy bear with a sensitive tip and tilt growl and like his predecessor Johann too has a humped back, overly long arms and the most empathetic and encouraging face. He has been sewn from the finest luxury tousled russet mohair with warm wool felt paws, glossy black eyes and a smart hand stitched black flax nose upon his carefully trimmed muzzle. As he is designed to look vintage you will find his head wobbles.
The endearing Johann is a Worldwide Limited Edition from 2011 and will come to you boxed with his numbered certificate of authenticity.
