The Sam K-Steel 2 is an American pool table using 2 1/4″ spots and stripes balls, with a 3 piece sectional slate bed, available in 8ft and 9ft sizes.
The flagship SAM K Steel 2 American pool table owes its success to its build quality, style and its durability. The framework gives great strength and rigidity, removing any problems normally associated with a wooden or MDF-framed unit.
This latest model of the hugely popular K-Steel, the K-Steel 2 has been updated to meet the latest EPBF (the European Pocket Billiard Federation) requirements. They now feature completely flat rails, which complements the new range of stunning sleek finishes now available.
The 30mm slate is precision ground. Using Sam’s unique locking leveling system, this provides the truest of playing surfaces. The top frame continues the approach of strength and accuracy with the entire rail made from extruded aluminium, which is directly bonded with the Artemis pool cushion. This provides a consistency of ball response akin to that of a steel block snooker cushion.
The frame of the table is built from steel and each section bolts together. This enables the tables to be installed in difficult to reach locations. The table’s design and playing characteristics are industry leading. This coupled with it’s ability to get to where many other tables can’t make it an extremely compelling choice.
