Following hot on the heels of the other rock band inspired pinball machine, Rolling Stones, is the AC-DC pinball game. The Australian band, formed in 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young, are considered as the pioneers of heavy metal.
Mixed with the five band members are elements from their albums and tours, such as the inflatable Rosie character they have on stage during Whole Lotta Rosie, the train image from Rock-N-Roll Train and the cannon used on the cover of For Those About To Rock, on that same track and in their live performances.

There is a large additional AC/DC topper on the backbox with its own lighting effects. The game’s backglass also uses alternative artwork. On the playfield, numerous additional cosmetic features have been added, including a 3D cannon, train, railway tracks and bell. The Thunderstruck targets all have been upgraded with bright blue, shaped flashlamps.
The rest of the machine is in fantastic condition. The playfield itself is beautifully clean, but has some very small chips in the playfield artwork. There are some very minor nicks in the artwork on the right side of the cabinet and backbox.
All our pinball machines go through a thorough inspection and reconditioning process, ensuring that they play perfectly with no errors. We will fit new balls and new rubbers where necessary. New decals and parts will be fitted where necessary. We will make cosmetic repairs if needed. We describe our pinball machines as being in excellent reconditioned condition. This is a vintage machine and can therefore carry some cosmetic imperfections. Where this type of reconditioning process has been undertaken we will make it absolutely clear that this is the case and the price will reflect the amount of time taken and costs incurred in this process.
Reconditioning and Servicing – 26 Point Checklist:
Buying a pinball can be a lot like buying a car: there can be problems underneath the bonnet that you wouldn’t even know about, until they interrupt your fun!
It’s worth noting that pinball machines are complicated in their workings. There are pitfalls to buying a second hand pinball machine elsewhere, and if you don’t know what to look for, you can have an incomplete machine running at less than its potential. Furthermore, you could purchase a machine that is 20-30 years old and has a serious electrical fault.
However, every machine that comes through our doors undergoes an ex
