247 By Porsche Design Luxury Pool Tables
This is a stunningly unique pool table. The 247 from Porsche Design Studio in Austria reflects exclusivity, luxury and personality. Its sleek and visionary design is in contrast to the bulky structure of many billiard tables. The clear and spheric geometry follows the Porsche Design Studio principles of shape and function, and defines a new aesthetic standard in billiards.
Built with a deliberate restriction on quantity and type of materials, the 247 follows the Porsche philosophy: a formally coherent product doesn´t need any embellishment. Only high-quality materials such as stainless steel covered with a high-tech solid surface material named Corian are used in its production. The 247 was created for people who demand the very best in aesthetics and function.
Porsche Design Studio in Zell am See, Austria, stands for the distinctive, timeless and unmistakable design signature that characterizes all of the Porsche Design Group’s products. Choosing Your Cloth
Further information about each cloth can be read below.
Simonis
For American pool we recommend the use of Simonis cloth. Simonis worsted cloth has smooth, even threads to assure a consistent speed and cushion rebound. High wool content worsted thread construction takes ball spin more consistently and helps reduce ball burns. The sheer quality of Simonis cloth gives it a long life and a high-quality playing surface, as well as enhancing the look of your table with its range of beautiful colours.
Pool table cloth is a natural product. It goes through a dyeing process, but the original natural wool colour is not neutral. Therefore, the colour of your cloth will be as close to sample as possible but will never totally match, there will always be some natural variance. Furthermore, upon any re-cloth, replacement bed, replacement cushion or remedial job in the same colour choice please bear in mind there won’t be an exact colour match due to the natural dyeing process.
