(This video shows a previous machine. New video coming soon)
The Junk Yard Pinball Machine is manufactured by Williams, makers of some of the greatest pinball machines in history.
Junk Yard was designed by Barry Oursler in 1996 and is responsible for some of the most famous games in pinball, including Bram Stoker’s Dracula and PIN*BOT. Junk Yard sees the player locked within the confines of a huge junkyard, overseen by its maniacal owner Crazy Bob. The player’s goal is to arm themselves with whatever they can find around the massive scrap heap, before blasting off into space to engage and defeat Crazy Bob in a final showdown.
The game has several features for players to interact with, including a swinging wrecking ball that players can hit, a vicious junkyard bulldog, and even a mode that allows players to revisit modes from other vintage machines of the past.
Key Features:
Escape Crazy Bob’s Junk Yard: Build a flying jalopy from pieces around the junkyard to take out Crazy Bob.
Crane with Wrecking Ball: Crazy Bob’s massive wrecking ball crane hangs over the playfield. Strike the wrecking ball with your shots to send the wrecking ball swinging into targets.
Mystery Bus Mystery Awards: Launch the ball up the ramp to claim a mystery award from the Mystery Bus.
Spike the Junk Yard Dog: Take on Spike, Crazy Bob’s faithful junkyard bulldog as he barks and snaps at players from his kennel.
Time Machine Mode: Travel through pinball history in this mode that revisits other modes from past famous games, including Attack from Mars, Creature from the Black Lagoon and The Addams Family.
The Great Toilet: Send your ball up this ramp and watch your ball spiral into the great toilet to add additional pieces of junk to your collection.
LED Bulbs:
For an extra fee you can upgrade the bulbs in this pinball machine, from standard bulbs to super-bright LED bulbs. This will make your pinball table look absolutely amazing, as well as increasing the lifespan of the bulbs.
Condition:
This Junk Yard machine has spent the majority of its life in a commercial environment, meaning that the cabinet and some aspects of the playfield do have some evidence of wear, however the machine is mechanically in excellent shape.
Where this type of reconditioning process has been undertaken we will make it absolutely clear that this is the case and the price will reflect the amount of time taken and costs incurred in this process.
Reconditioning and Servicing – 26 Point Checklist:
Buying a pinball can be a lot like buying a car: there can be problems underneath the bonnet that you wouldn’t even know about, until they interrupt your fun!
It’s worth noting that pinball machines are complicated in their workings. There are pitfalls to buying a second hand pinball machine elsewhere, and if you don’t know what to look for, you can have an incomplete machine running at less than its potential. Furthermore, you could purchase a machine that is 20-30 years old and has a serious electrical fault.
However, every machine that comes through our doors undergoes an extensive 26-point check with our trained engineer. All machines under
