Inspired by the film Reign of Assassins, Directed by John Woo, Rasson’s design team coined the idea of designing a billiard table inspired by the sharp shape of the ‘sword’ featured in the film; thus, the unique and stylish Sword II was born.

What is Chinese 8-Ball?
Chinese 8-Ball is an incredible new cue sport that has captured the attention of players from all disciplines from all over the world. Chinese 8-Ball has been called a ‘Hybrid’ cue sport, as it takes elements from almost every different cue sport, combining elements from each into a single that’s fast, tense and above all else challenging to play.
Chinese 8-Ball is traditional English pool rules, but played with American 2 1/4″ spots and stripes and on a scaled down, 9 foot snooker table fitted with snooker pocket apertures. This makes the shots incredibly tight, making for nail biting matches.
Already a massive televised sporting event in China, Chinese 8-Ball is the most rapidly developing game in the world of cue sports, attracting hundreds of millions of live viewers in China alone, with the winners of the JOY Chinese 8-Ball Masters winning enormous cash prizes.
