All of the technology, fabrics and Italian designs utilised for this competition suit, are to build comfort and elasticity of the texture which is transferred to the athlete from the suit, giving the feeling of a second skin, eliminating any braking friction. Akron’s ultraskin design offers an open back and thick straps. The benefit of this, is freedom of movement along the shoulders. This may be preferred by swimmers with an arched back for a more comfortable fit. The thick straps reduce rubbing on the shoulders and have been designed with stretch fabric to ensure each swim type can take full advantage of the suit. This kneesuit, designed and constructed by Akron, allows for a serpentine movement between water molecules due to the high percentage of Elastane and the compactness of the fabric. These offer total adherence to the body and maintain the effect of compression and containment. Features: Super-flat hot ultrasonic heat sealers. High percentage of elastane and a compacted fabric structure offer total adherence to the body, eliminating any possibility of air bubbles. Innovative water repellent treatment that eliminates any braking friction generated by water. Ultra-technological fibres intertwined, in a defined and calibrated structure to attribute to the innovative fabric compression values which have never been obtained before. The specially designed elastic module generates a muscle massage action, that reduces fatigue in times of maximum stress. The special external taping gives greater grip and high resistance to multiple voltages. FINA Approved
