The Red Squirrel can be located in Asia and Europe, although due to the introduction of the larger Grey Squirrels in Italy, Ireland and Great Britain their numbers have declined dramatically, yet with conservation efforts they are beginning to stabilise in Scotland. This beautiful Red Squirrel, is named Copper and is from the award winning, American, soft toy company, Bearington.
Copper is a soft toy red squirrel. He has been sewn from two gorgeously soft and dense, close-pile plush in tan and white, with a magnificent, fluffy long-pile tonal-tan tail, plus velvety-smooth accents for his wee inner ears. He has gleaming, black safety eyes emphasised with white surrounds, plus a wee stitched nose with minimal airbrush shading, to shape and define his face, ears and paws. All of this and he been gently stuffed with premium, soft poly fill, whilst also being part-bean filled for that tactile, must-have, squidgy soft feel. Just gorgeous.
