Burlington Bearties have been enchanting us with their glorious creations for over 20 years. Known for their magnificent cats and wildlife, the team of mother and daughter, Jean Ball and Bridget Peacock are occasionally known for creating a bear. Meet Reuben Lockett, born in the West Midlands, courtesy of Burlington Bearties.
Reuben Lockett is a fully jointed, character teddy bear with a charming wobble head. He has been sewn from a luxurious and dense, brown mohair with matching hued, warm wool felt paws, plus glossy glass black eyes, twinkling above his hand stitched, waxed nose and mouth, that rest upon his expertly trimmed muzzle and lovingly stuffed with granulated mineral for that extra weight and addictive tactile feel, whilst hand applied shading has been carefully applied to his face and paws, bringing personality, charm and appeal. In finishing, he wears a tailored sky blue jacket with a white sailors collar featuring a satin ribbon trim.

Although very minimal, there are some slight brown markings upon his blue jacket. Front left, just below collar and the top of the left arm. See all provided images. This does not deter from Reuben's enchantment and he has been priced accordingly.
