Duxford is a characterful traditional Canterbury Bears teddy bear, measuring approximately 35cm from head to paw. He is crafted from dense, long-pile mohair with a wonderfully warm auburn-toned base and contrasting pale ash-blonde tips. His fur is neatly trimmed shorter around the muzzle, drawing attention to his brown embroidered nose and deep orange-red eyes with black pupils. Large, rounded ears add plenty of personality to his classic teddy bear appearance.
Around his neck, Duxford wears a rich brown satin ribbon collar tied in a bow and adorned all the way around with gold-toned jingling bells. The bells make a charming sound whenever he is moved, giving this collectible mohair bear an especially delightful finishing touch. His pale beige leather-like paw pads beautifully complement the lighter tips of his fur.
Duxford is five-way jointed and is part of a limited edition of just 500 pieces. He is individually numbered and signed on his foot paws, with both the number and signature remaining clearly visible.
