Continuing the long running theme of 1980's TV Teddy Detectives, we say hello to Dempsey (James Dempsey – Dempsey and Makepeace), who has been beautifully designed, by Isabelle Lee with Charlotte Morris for Charlie Bears', Isabelle Collection – their much sort after, Limited Edition, mohair and alpaca creations.
Dempsey is a wonderful 51cm / 20" tall and loosely fully jointed. He has been sewn, from a luxuriously fluffy, long pile mohair, in muted pale olives, with tactile, fabric paws. He has soulful, glossy glass eyes and a kissable, hand stitched, two tone nose. Delicate airbrushing, along with scissor sculpting and shaving, brings shape and definition, not only to his endearing face, but his tickle paws too. To finish, a leather bow tie with a large button, a jingle and church bell, plus an ornate metal leaf all tied at the knot as decoration. Fantabulously weighty, making him that special something!
