This English dancer became a Principal at the age of just 20 for the Royal Ballet and enamoured, many worldwide with her talent. Now retired and having been awarded a DBE, she is pursuing careers in television, dance institutions and international charities. It's (Dame) Darcey (Bussell) and she has been lovingly designed by Isabelle Lee with Charlotte Morris for Charlie Bears.
Darcey is a 25 cm / 10", fully jointed, character bear. She has been sewn from a mix of sumptuously dense auburn-tipped, pale-peach alpaca, with luxurious white mohair accents, including a woven strip, between her stitched defined digits and the padded soles of her wonderfully tactile, tickle toes! Endearing white enhanced, glossy black eyes and a cute, hand stitched light-apricot nose, featuring silver metallic highlights, gently shape her face, with delicately applied colour shading bringing definition and charm, whilst being part-bean filled, results in a good weight and that must-have, snugly, cuddly feel. To finish, a sheer peach organza bow, with a bejewelled heart pendant and a co-ordinating bejewelled head piece.
Bear Family : Beautiful Ballet Dancers Mini-Series, Isadora and Anna.
Limited Edition : Worldwide Limited Edition of just 275 pieces.
