The Pica Pica is a 33 cm x 9 cm x 20 cm (13″x3.5″x7.8″), soft toy bird, with concealed leg supports. He has been sewn from a luxuriously dense, close pile plush in glossy black and snow white, with a deep striped blue, for the tips of his wing feathers, trying to mimic the iridescence of the purpley-blue plumage in reality. His glossy black eyes are edged in grey, whilst his grey beak, lower limbs and feet have received delicate hand shading and painting, creating shape and detail.
