This species is known to play dead really rather well, that the saying "playing possum" developed from it. It is of course the marvellous Possum, lovingly designed and created by the German maker, Hermann Original.
Possum is a 27 cm / 10.6", non-jointed, plush toy. She has been sewn from a mix of luxuriously dense, woven plush. A dense grey-tipped charcoal, with white for his face and black for his paws, plus velvety-soft peachy-pink accents for his cupped ears, digits on his paws and his long tail. Glossy black safety eyes and a cute, squishy pink nose bring the charm, along with that lovable, snug-able feel. Did you know, as mothers they are known to carry their many 'joeys' upon their backs. Now that is dedication!
