This gorgeous 1950's Japanese release, has great potential to be a much-loved family heirloom.
The charming bear is 5" / 13cm in size and is crafted with a resplendent, glossy brown coat, with a contrasting pale muzzle and paws, which are in excellent condition. He has two-tone eyes and a black metal nose, which shows a little wear and is presented to you, in a colour printed cardboard box, which has worn well for its age.
Now for the potential … he houses an internal clockwork mechanism, that is operated by a turn key protruding from his side. Unfortunately, the turn key has been mislaid along the way and the clock work motor requires a little attention, to bring him back to life. It appears, that someone may have had an investigative look, due to the opening beneath. Once repaired, he will be able to amuse and entertain, just like he did before.
A worthy project to undertake.
