Pelham Puppets have bought fun, entertainment and intrigue, for longer than they had been trading (1947 – 1993). This vintage marionette Clown has as much charm now, as he ever did.
The Clown is 30cm / 12" in size and connected with the use of strings and metal loops, with rods used to activate movement. He even has weighted feet to help balance and remain upright.
His exquisite paintwork is unchipped, whilst his wool felt hat, jazzy print suit and burgundy ruff, mirrors in condition. He comes in a brown 1947 – 1955 designed box, complete with printed instructions, both show wear relevant to age.
