The continued inspiration for the 5th release from the Mother Goose Series, stems from illustrations made by Kate Greenaway, for Olde Mother Goose Nursery Rhymes, it is the captivating wee mouse – Little Bo-Peep and she has been beautifully designed and crafted, by the artisans at R John Wright.
Little Bo-Peep is just 3" tall with a turn-able head and moveable shoulders. She has been sewn from a luxurious, woven mohair plush with dainty resin paws, fine whiskers, glossy black glass eyes and a leather tail. His enchanting features have been paid much attention too, in the art of scissor sculpting and airbrush shading. She is adorned in a decadent period costume. A fine ivory silk has been used for her tailored, Empire waisted dress, with a silk coral sash, matching the ribbon ties of her wide brimmed straw hat (created from natural straw braid). There are even two spaces for her wee ears to poke through – just delightful. Little Bo-Peep would not be Little Bo-Peep without her shepherdess crook … and here it is, in her delicate wee paw, a custom made wood and pewter crook. Now she just needs to find her sheep!
This captivating soft sculpture is a Worldwide Limited Edition of only 150 pieces and will be presented to you in a bespoke, lined box, with her signed and numbered certificate of authenticity.
