The Aardvark is a nocturnal, burrowing mammal, known in its native Africa as a ground or earth pig. He uses his long snout to dig out insects. This version is an plush toy from Ravensden.
He has been sewn from a wonderfully soft and tactile, dense short-pile, in pale-mink and minky-grey plush, with velvety-touch accents for his defined 'claws', long inner ears, eye lids and snout tip. In finishing, he has glossy, two-tone brown eyes, with nostril and open mouth detailing, emphasised with carefully applied colour shading.
