This enchanting bear with movement has great appeal. Originally crafted in Russia with a clockwork mechanism and a luxurious coat, this toy of yesteryear, would have been a much regarded and cherished item, that not all, if many could afford.
The bear was created using a press moulded, cardboard body, perfect for housing his mechanical cogs and covered in a gloriously tactile and smooth, glossy chestnut brown artificial silk plush, with white enhanced, glossy black eyes, for expression and endearment, above a textured, black faux leather for his nose, whilst his open mouthed expression gives the illusion of the white milk going into his red mouth, through a simple painting technique. Between his paws rests a milk bottle with an orange teat.
Once activate he lifts his arms holding the bottle up and down, whilst opening and closing his mouth.
