It is common for our pinball machines to sell before they are even listed on our website – when they arrive we contact customers who have logged an interest with us first.
The Scared Stiff Pinball Machine, released in 1996, was manufactured by Bally Midway, makers of some of the greatest pinball machines in history.
Scared Stiff is the follow-up to 1989’s Elvira and the Party Monsters, and features Elvira herself once again in a B-movie themed pinball extravaganza. Can you survive all six Tales of Terror?
Gameplay:
Complete the Six Tales of Terror and make your way up the Stiff-o-Meter.
Six Tales of Terror:

Terror from the Crate: Knock on the crate to release the horrors inside and a 2-ball multiball.
The Stiff in the Coffin: Awaken The Stiff in The Coffin for 3-ball multiball!
The Monster’s Lab: Enter the Monster’s Lab and keep hitting the pop bumpers until you light this tale.
Night of the Leapers: Hit the leapers to light the tale, but don’t stop there, keep hitting them to enter Leaper Mania mode and have a ball!
The Return of the Deadheads: Collect a range of Deadheads to light this tale and add advances to your bonus.
Scared Stiff:

Key Features:
Animated ‘Stiff in the Coffin’: Watch the coffin’s lid pop open to reveal the corpse inside, and shoot balls out to begin multiball.
The Crate: Smash your way into the crate to begin a 2 ball multiball and unleash the horrors within. What will you find in there..?

Condition:
This Elvira Scared Stiff machine has received numerous extensive upgrades, and is in stunning condition. Several new components have been installed to add upon the machine’s original charm, such as new leapers, a working screen next to the Bony Beast, a miniature plasma disc as well as an extensive rebuild of all of the game’s mechanics and lighting, which has been completely upgraded to LEDs. The game even features a colour D.M.D and uograded sound system.
Some very minor imperfections can be found on the artwork of the game’s backbox and the cabinet (some wear and fading to colours), but overall do not detract in any way from the machine’s original charm. The game is a major favourite amongst Elvira fans and pinball players, so that and the extensive work that’s been undertaken is reflected in the machine’s price.

Furthermore, you could purchase a machine that is 20-30 years old and has a serious electrical fault.
However, every machine that comes through our doors undergoes an extensive 26-point check with our trained en
