Meet Anton, Steiff's Christmas Musical Bear for 2017. He is a delightful chap, full of sentiment and tradition. Although he carries a trumpet, he can never play his favourite tune 'Hark the Herald Angels Sing' but his turn key music box can!
Anton is 37cm tall and fully jointed with a loosely attached head. He has been sewn from a luxurious antique beige mohair with wool felt paws and features cupped ears aside of the most expressive face. He has large glossy black eyes, with a kissable hand stitched nose, whilst daintily applied hand shading, brings depth and defintion. Around his neck is a large fabric crimson bow, with a seasonal star print. The hue matches the colour of the first bar notes (Hark the Herald Angels Sing), embroidered onto his left paw, as well as the ribbon attached to his trusty trumpet. His look is vintage and antique, yet he is definitely anything but.
