Steiff have decided once again to give their Christmas Bear the 'Teddies for Tomorrow' treatment, by crafting it from recycling materials into durable fabrics and by using natural materials for specific needs. Introducing White Christmas, the 2022 release for Steiff's annual Christmas Bear.
White Christmas is a fully jointed, musical character bear that plays the well-known festive song, White Christmas. (The concealed music box is activated by a turn-key in his back). This stunning snow white bear with gleaming gold accents has been sewn with a silky-soft, textured soy bamboo viscose plush, that even features in his jauntily worn hat that has a long-pile linen plush for its wide brim, matching that of the cosy neck cowl worn around his neck, with the tip of the hat having a paper-plush ball, in place of a jingle bell, whilst being lovingly stuffed with corn fibre. His gleaming gold paw pads are a smooth faux leather, with his left sole featuring the embroidered notes of the first bar of White Christmas. His enchanted face is lifted with his glossy black eyes and hand stitched gold thread nose, which also features a white highlighter line, as though the gold is shining. Like all 'Teddies for Tomorrow', he has a large, highly polished, round brass chest tag, featuring the Steiff company logo from 1897. A magical heirloom piece that can be enjoyed by the family year after year.
