Steiff 037986 Santas Express LE Mohair Santa Bear and Horses

Santas Express is a 2002, L/E Steiff Christmas piece, consisting of a Mohair Santa Teddy Bear, wooden carriage and two Mohair Horses. The adorable Teddy Santa is 13cm tall, fully jointed and sewn from mohair. He wears a red cotton velvet Santa outfit, complete with mohair beard. His historically designed Beechwood carriage, features vintage Steiff advertising motifs from 1910, and found within, are traditionally wrapped parcels and Santas burlap bag. The beautifully detailed wheeled horses, are sewn from mohair with handmade leather harnesses. Together it is 50cm long. This enchanting family heirloom is a Limited Edition of 2,002 pieces and comes boxed with its certificate of authenticity.
