This glorious nod to yesteryear, was once a top quality, child's toy and has been re-created for the Steiff Museum in Geingen, Germany, for their Steiff Museum Replica Collection. It's their glorious 1910 Replica Fox, crafted by the Master Teddy Bear Makers, Steiff.
Fox is a 12 cm / 5", fully jointed woodland fox. He has been sewn from two luxurious and dense mohair, in white and light russet, with black trim for his ears, twinkling, two-tone orange eyes and hand stitched facial features.
Originally produced between 1989 -1992, this piece is a Limited Edition of only 4,000. He comes boxed, with his edition number printed on the back.
