Baerle 43 PAB 1905 Vintage Replica is a 60cm tall five way jointed mohair bear. He can be posed both sitting and standing and is loose jointed with a floppy, disk jointed head.
He has wooden eyes and is filled with wood shavings and he has bald patches covering his body, arms and legs and a shaven muzzle. He has one beige paw pad and one beige paw pad on his feet he has bits of red underfelt showing in the holes and some of his wood wool stuffing showing through. He has been made to look unique and vintage, as shown in the picture.
“Bärle” from 1905 is the oldest jointed bear that can be found in the Steiff Archives and this Replica is a detailed Reproduction of Bärle.
Every little abrasion in the blond mohair, the head tilted to one side over the years, little "scars" on the sole and pads.
