This fellow is a true gent of a bear. It's the 1909 Replica Teddy Bear, recreated in 1995 by the master teddy bear makers, Steiff.
1909 is a sizeable 65 cm (25.5") fully jointed teddy bear, with a wonderful tip and tilt growl. He has been sewn from the finest, luxuriously dense and wavy, blonde mohair, with warm wool felt paws and lovingly stuffed with excelsior, just like the original. He has glossy, wooden black eyes with a smart, black stitched nose and mouth. With his distinctive cupped ears, humped back, overly long arms and sizeable feet, along with the charm and endearment he holds within, he is not to be missed.
He is a Worldwide Limited Edition of 5,000 pieces and will come to you boxed, with his numbered certificate of authenticity.
