In 1926 the joyful Teddy clown arrived, in differing sizes and colour combinations for customers to choose from. This 1926 Pink Replica Clown was one of those options and is made by the master teddy bear makers, Steiff.
Clown is a 33 cm / 13" fully jointed teddy bear, with a 'press and listen voice' (squeaker). He has been sewn from a luxuriously dense, rose-pink mohair, with warm wool felt paws, whilst being firmly, excelsior stuffed. His appealing face has sparkling two-tone brown glass eyes and an enchanting, hand stitched cocoa nose, mouth and claws all adds to his appeal. He wears a moulded white felt, cone hat with violet pom poms, plus a two layered white satin ruff, trimmed with violet ribbon. Quite the 'happy' bear!
Originally released in 1999, the teddy clown is a Limited Edition of 5,000, He will come boxed with his numbered certificate of authenticity.
Please note, there is a small dent in his hat at the point, which occurred during storage and this is reflected in his price.
