This cute 1950's Replica was chosen to represent the Steiff Club as their official annual release of 2001. A traditional humped backed, long armed bear, with high cupped ears and a shorter snout, resulting in a more appealing, friendly face.
1950 is a 35 cm / 14" fully jointed, hand crafted teddy bear. He has been sewn from a luxuriously decadent, glossy chestnut brown mohair, with warm wool felt paws to keep him cosy. He has been lovingly stuffed with wood shavings and features, glimmering, two-tone brown, glass eyes and a kiss able hand stitched black nose. He is decorated with a classic red ribbon bow, whilst being a Steiff Club Bear, means a large porcelain disc hangs upon his chest, featuring Steiff Club Edition 2001, along with an illustrated teddy bear holding the iconic ribbon tag, complete with the 'button in the ear'.
