From 1994, we have an enchanting Limited Edition Steiff Teddy Bear, commemorating the 90th Birthday of the Vedes Company, (a leading wholesaler in the European soft toy market and still going strong today).
Vedes is 16.5" / 42cm tall and fully jointed. He has been sewn from a luxurious and sumptuous blonde mohair with matching wool felt paws. He has large, glossy black eyes with smart hand stitched facial features and claws, plus endearing cupped ears, making him really very appealing. He wears a red sash with both the Vedes and Steiff logos, featuring the words 'WIR FEIERN 90 JAHRE … im Zeichen des Teddy-baren … Limitierte Auflage', which roughly translated means – We celebrate 90 years of the Limited Edition Teddy Bear. To finish, a gentle tip and tilt growl.
The delightful Vedes is a Limited Edition, German Exclusive of 6,000 pieces and will come to you boxed. Please note the original piece design did not come with a certificate as was an exclusive.
