From 2003, we welcome the European Travelling Bear. An exclusive for Germany, Belguim, France and the Netherlands. He certainly advertises that he is a tourist, with his country stickered suitcase, camera and glasses, he wants to take in so much and record what he sees.
Travelling Bear is 28cm/11" tall and fully jointed. He has been sewn from a sumptuously dense cinnamon mohair with warm, wool felt paws. His stunning eyes are two tone azure blue, with a matching hued, hand stitched nose and mouth, making him exceptionally striking. Upon his head rests his round, metal rimmed sun shades, whilst his detailed camera rest's around his neck. His magnificent suitcase, has an antique feel, with colourful 'flag' stickers for the places he has visited, which happens to be Germany, France, Belgium and the Netherlands. To finish, a gold ribbon bow and embroidery detailing upon his paws – 2003 on his left and Voyage on his right using the same azure blue thread as before.
