This chubby little Steiff panda cub was created in honour of the first Giant Panda Cub being born (August 31st 1999), in the Western hemisphere since 1990. The cub and it's mother reside at the Pacific Bell, Giant Panda Research Station at the San Diego Zoo where scientists learn more about the species, how to help with preservation and their procreation.
The Cub is 18cm / 7" tall and non-jointed. He has been sewn from two luxuriant and wonderfully dense mohairs, in white and black with a shaved muzzle, an inverted triangle nose and glossy, two-tone brown safety eyes. Utterly charming!
This stunning wee cub is a San Diego Zoo Exclusive of 1,500 pieces and will come gift boxed, with his attached numbered certificate of authenticity.
