This glorious Japanese Exclusive celebrates the Blue Rose Blossom (Aoi Bara), that in literature is the symbol for both love and prosperity. Sadly Blue Roses do not exist in nature, so in 2004 scientists came up with an alternative that they created, resulting in the most stunning, tonal blue hybrid. This is said rose as a bear, gloriously designed and crafted by the Master Teddy Bear Makers, Steiff.
Blue Rose is a 27 cm / 10.6" fully jointed, teddy bear. He has been sewn from the finest white mohair, with warm wool felt paws, glossy black eyes and a light-catching, metallic silver thread has been used for his hand stitched nose and claws. It has also been used to embroider 2011 upon his right paw. His torso has been cleverly embroidered with green steams and leaves, leading up to his neck where three shades of sheer organza have formed his neck ruff and in doing so, the Blue Rose bloom atop the stems. Glorious!
