We are very proud to offer to you, the complete four character set, from Steiffs 1998/99, Wind in the Willows Collection. It is exceptionally rare to have posession of all four pieces together, and as such, we have decided to sell them as a fabulous, forever, heirloom set.
Toad ean 037016, is the self-centred impulsive one, who can be prone to sudden emotional outburts. He is a fully jointed, 25cm tall luxurious mohair piece, with dainty airbrush definition and detailed eyes. He is finely dressed in his check printed, wool felt suit, with vibrant red waistcoat featuring gold buttons, plus a red and black wool felt cravat upon his crisp, white cotton shirt.
Ratty ean 037047, is the clever and alert, extremely considerate one. He is a fully jointed, 25cm tall luxurious mohair piece, with dainty airbrush definition. He is looking splendid in his white wool felt suit, with red leather belt, white cotton shirt and red/white checked neckerchief.
Mole ean 03703, is the charming, generous and giving one. He is a fully jointed, 25cm tall luxurious mohair piece, with dainty airbrush definition and black oval, white wool felt lined, squinty eyes. He looks rather dapper in his long, wool felt coat, with matching covered buttons, trousers, gold buttoned waistcoat, cotton shirt and blue/white cravat.
Last but not least is Badger ean 037030, the homely one, who does not like to be disturbed, unless it is by his best friends on the tail of an adventure, then on him you can depend. He is a fully jointed, 28cm tall luxurious mohair piece, with dainty airbrush defintion. He is smartly dressed in his long, wool felt check print coat with gold buttons, trousers, pale, gold buttoned waistcoat, cotton shirt and wool felt tie.
