From their Old Witney Favourites, we introduce their bear of 2006, a Witney 2006 Bear, (a year bear), crafted in the style of English bear designs from the 1940's. He is a Teddy Bears of Witney Exclusive.
Witney 2006 is a 28 cm / 11" fully jointed teddy bear with a charming tummy squeaker. He has been sewn from a luxurious gold, short-pile mohair and genuine leather soles and palms, whilst being sympathetically aged to show some worn (threadbare) patches of a much handled and loved bear. He has expressive, glossy glass amber eyes and a waxed, black thread nose and mouth upon his once over kissed muzzle. To finish, a round Teddy Bears of Witney wood pendant, with Witney 2006 Bear in the centre, proving his importance.
Witney 2006 is quite special, as he is the premiere bear in a series of annually released, year bears, created and designed exclusively for Teddy Bears of Witney.
He is a Limited Edition to the year end of 2006, of 250 pieces. He comes with his numbered certificate of authenticity.
